UAS Heritage Overdrive 50w (High Plate Skyliner – Non HRM)
Finally getting around to releasing our take on the venerable Dumble Overdrive Special. Has been a while in the works.
This is a 50w model running a pair of 6CA7 (or EL34) output valves with the addition of a Post Phase Inverter Master Volume (PPIMV) to allow for more moderate volumes if needed. This also allows for more gain staging options as you can control how hard you want to hit the phase inverter without the deafening volumes usually required. With the PPIMV maxed out it is effectively out of the circuit. Definitely a handy addition.
– Mercury Magnetics output transformer
– Optional half power switch (Stock is without but can install by request).
– Post Phase Inverter Master Volume (PPIMV)
– Switchable local negative feedback for the preamp section
– 6CA7 or EL34 output valves (Stock is 6CA7 but can be installed with EL34’s
– Foot-switchable Overdrive channel (OD) and Preamp Boost (PAB)
– Hand-wired in Sydney
