UAS Stoned Ape Theory Fuzz/Reverb.
A nod to the shoegaze and stoner rockers. The UAS Ape Theory Fuzz/Reverb offers smooth modern fuzz tones married with a shimmer/octave reverb, with the ability to select either Fuzz into Reverb or Reverb into Fuzz to create a myriad of musical and ambient textures from wall of fuzz and silky leads, to cathedral type layers and droning ambience. There are so many avenues to experiment with.
With the Shimmer control all the way down you effectively have a studio room/hall type reverb with just a touch of subtle modulation. Great even for just adding some ambience to a clean signal or for adding some sparkle to a lead tone.
Pitch controls the octave frequency/pitch. Control all the way down = lower octave. All the way up = upper octave. In between allows for dissonant, off-tune octaves for tensive, wall of noise and experimental textures and swells.
The Fuzz is similar to my Trema Fuzz, though a little smoother. A Muff style fuzz with a tighter bottom end without the dramatic mid scoop. Tone Control adjusts the brightness and upper mids without effecting the bottom end response.
Works great on bass too.
